You can get way better writing anywhere else other than Hollywood. I literally seen better structured, more coherent, complex and awesome writing, and characters done by fans than the actual writers.

Honestly Madame Web was not as bad as any of these other projects. The ladies are not insufferable girlbosses and they fail repeatedly (and get killed off in alternative futures) and only win due to clever planning and forethought, but even so they mostly just spend the show escaping from a villain. Also, yeah, Sydney looks amazing, never would have guessed from the movie she is that well stacked... as she plays a younger age character there so I guess they hid those enormous kazoongas.

This will not last forever as the competent staff age-out or decided to leave a company where they know they are considered second-class citizens at best. This is why the Iger Company is largely incapable of fixing itself, even if Iger should tomorrow decide to drop 'diversity' from their content. They've destroyed generations of expertise, the kind the experts would previously have passed on to newer staff coming into the company. The only way a company can recover from this is to clean house and hire in an entirely new team that will effectively replace what remains of the company. Think Pixar in how Iger's acquisition started a new era in Iger animation, the company's existing efforts largely coasting on the fumes of past generations.

Honestly I never noticed when watching Hawkeye that Echo is missing a leg, only at the end during the fights. I was surprised and wondered why would they do that when the character never had a missing leg in the comics, then was dumbfounded to find out they did that because the actor was missing a leg.
